TS Galaxy and former Kaizer Chiefs talisman Bernard Parker is making headlines after it was confirmed that the star has been discharged from the hospital.

The 37-year-old attacker was hospitalised on Wednesday night with a broken leg.

Parker was involved in a nasty challenge with Bongani Zungu during TS Galaxy’s 5-4 Carling Knockout penalty shootout win over Mamelodi Sundowns.

However, in the backdrop of his injury, an update was issued by TS Galaxy Chair Tim Sukazi that the star went through a successful surgery.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, Sukazi said: “Mzansi TS Galaxy family, Bernard Parker has now been discharged. We thank you all for your support, lots of love.”

No doubt in the backdrop of his discharge, little is known when the star will be out of play. He was all smiles as he left the hospital in a wheelchair.

Will Bernard Parker continue, or was that his last dance? The star is yet to issue an update about his illustrious career that spans sessions in the DStv Premier League.

Mzansi was left to guess about his future against his career-threatening injury.

However, against the news, the star has been topping trends after his video of going home after being discharged made rounds on social media. The now-viral video has gained thousands of reactions and comments since it dropped.

@Constitution_94 commented: “When done here, please go and apologise to Skepe for dismissing his tweet & interview about Zungu-Parker’s sms. If not to him directly, at least do it in public, to your followers. They think (I initially thought too) you were correct.”
